Prompts

As well as making the “skip” button very small and insignificant, we have incorporated an “are you sure” pop up which appears as you press skip. This has a big, bold “take me back” button whereas the “yes skip” is small and in the corner. We are using these techniques to prompt the user to answer as many questions as possible to really see how easy is to get people to compromise their data in exchange for something minor. By asking “are you sure?” it makes the user rethink their choice and maybe even feel a bit of guilt for not taking 100% part in the interaction.
