This is an audio-visual installation which depicts road surveillance camera footage and features eerie, robotic voices which read UK number plate data mixed with predictive narratives about the owners of the vehicles and the reason behind their current location.
This installation aims to demonstrate the lack of control that people have over public surveillance and also the assumptions that might be made about us and the motives behind our actions from the perspective of a calculative spectator.
This exhibition is a very good interpretation of feelings of anxiety or loss of control people might experience about public surveillance.
