Apply Magic Sauce is a demo created by the University of Cambridge to try and predict the type of person you are by granting access to your various social media data. As Quincey used most of the social media that Apply Magic Sauce allowed, it was best for him to try out the service and see what kind of results were generated by the system. Uploading his Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn data to generate a predicted schema of the user. From the results, we saw some that aligned closely to how Quincey self-identified and also results that were the opposite. Overall the results were relatively accurate, from predicting relationship status, political stance, life satisfaction and gender.
